Event Synopsis

 

The dialogue session will touch on the rejuvenation of mature industrial estates to allow harmonious co-existence of industrial and non-industrial activities as well as adaptive reuse of existing structures with unique architectural typology to achieve a more sustainable approach to rejuvenation. The dialogue session will consist of 4 sharing sessions by various speakers and conclude with a panel discussion, as seen in the event programme below:

The JTC Dialogue Session aims to provide participants with a better understanding of key considerations and strategies for brownfield redevelopment and adaptive reuse. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from real-world examples of brownfield redevelopment and adaptive reuse and gain insights into the challenges and opportunities associated with these types of projects. The seminar also provides a platform for participants to network with other professionals in the field. Hence, the dialogue session would be beneficial for planners to attend, and to encourage them to do so, 2 CPD points would be given to SIP members attending the Dialogue session.
