This year’s SIP Planning Awards competition, which was for the first time opened to international planning firms, received 36 very impressive submissions. A wide range of urban planning and design work in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, China, Korea, India, Qatar and South Africa was covered in the submissions.
SIP would like to thank all participants for their enthusiastic support, without which a competition of this scale and such high quality would not have been possible. The jury, comprising SIP President Evlyn Cheong, former Urban Redevelopment Authority Chief Planner and Deputy CEO Mrs Koh-Lim Wen Gin, President’s Design Award recipient Tan Cheng Siong and Professor Juergen Rosemann of the National University of Singapore, had a long day of deliberations, carefully evaluating and finally selecting the few winners from a very strong field of contenders Congratulations to all the winners!
