Invitation to participate in Sembawang Shipyard District Planning Review Workshop

Dear SIP Member, The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has engaged Singapore Institute of Planners (SIP) to conduct a planning study leading to a Master Plan and Urban Design for Sembawang Shipyard District (SSD). The SIP Core Team has been working on the Concept Master Plan since end May. We are excited to share the proposed SSD Concept Master Plan with you and garner your views at the coming workshop on 4 September 2024. During the workshop, we will form focus groups to deliberate on four topics over breakout session discussions. We are pleased to inform that URA, together with other agencies, namely HDB, LTA, NParks, PUB, MPA, NHB, JTC,STB and SportSG are expected to join us. The four topics are: – Land use Distribution – Open Space & Public Realm – Heritage,Tourism & Recreation – Workplace Opportunities
