Event Synopsis

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, geospatial solutions have been launched to support public safety efforts throughout Singapore during the circuit breaker period.

One key measure is social distancing: To assist the public in maintaining this practice, GIS tools have been used to help them make informed choices on when to leave or where to go for essential tasks and purchases.

This first webinar under the COVID-19 series focuses on the crowd avoidance solution package, which gives an overview of real-time crowd density in public spaces around the country.
