Event Synopsis

 

 At the EGM held on 29th June 2017, the proposed amendments to the Constitution with respect to the following were passed:

  • Pre-requisites for application for Full Member status.
  • Pre-requisites for conversion of Affiliate Members to Full Members.
  • Rights of Fellows and Full Members to nominate candidates for election to Council.
  • No rights for Affiliate Members and Student Members to nominate candidates for election to Council.•  The President and 50% of the voting Council to be Singapore Citizens
  • Membership reinstatement requirements
  • Continuing Professional Development requirements

SIP will lodge the amendments with the Registry of Societies.
