Land is limited in Singapore, as a small island city-state. The lecture will provide an overview on how the Singapore Land Authority (SLA), as the nation’s land administration agency, has evolved its approach to optimize State land and properties to meet Singapore’s needs. Through a more proactive approach, SLA is pushing the envelope on various fronts – developing differentiated strategies for interim use of State land and properties, digitalizing the current conveyancing process, and mainstreaming geospatial technology and its capabilities
Lecture by Colin Low, Chief Executive, Singapore Land Authority (SLA) Mr Low has over 20 years of experience in real estate and hospitality investment, fund management, business development and corporate banking. Prior to his current appointment as Chief Executive of SLA, Mr Low was the CEO of Frasers Hospitality Trust. He was previously head of hotel investment properties for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at CBRE Hotels. Based in London, he was in charge of its hotel transactional business across the EMEA region. |
