Speaker
Herbert Dreiseitl, Founder and CEO of Dreiseitl Consulting What are the tools to make our cities more resilient, liveable and regenerative? What sustainable perspectives and solutions can we offer today and for the future? How can Blue-Green Resilient Infrastructure be a norm in our dense cities? With a focus on public spaces where urban blue and green networks are the most affected, the lecture aims to re-introduce new potentials and perspectives of which these elements may be the possible medicine for cities, industrial sites and for their communities. This lecture will not only center around the theoretical discourse on urban blue-green design networks but will also share practical experiences through real-life case studies from around the world. Projects include the Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, Cloudburst Resilient Copenhagen, Cloudburst Resilient for Queens in New York City, Singapore’s ABC Water program and its pilot implementation at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, JTC Green Tech Park in Singapore, Tanner Springs in Portland Oregon, and others. |
