Event Synopsis

 

The Hong Kong Institute of Planners is hosting a two-part seminar series featuring ‘Planning Healthy City’ in January and February of 2024. We have invited two international experts on the subject to share with us from town planning and urban design to medical and primary health care perspectives.

The two seminars will be held as follows:
Part 1: 24th January 2024 (Wednesday), 17:30 to 19:00 (Hong Kong Time)
Title: Urban Design for Well-being by Prof. T. Townshend, School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, Newcastle University, United Kingdom

Part 2: 27 February 2024 (Tuesday), 17:30 to 19:00 (Hong Kong Time)
Title: Healthy City Movement for Sustainable Urban Development by Prof.A. Lee, Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong
