International Housing Forum 2017


7th - 8th September 2017, Singapore




The International Housing Forum (IHF) took place this September for professionals to exchange good practices and ideas on planning and housing. With the theme of ‘Sustainable Planning, Inclusive Communities’, it will serve as a platform to discuss ways to advance the United Nations’ New Urban Agenda through policy, planning and technological interventions.



It was a joint effort well executed to near full house with over 400 attendees all over the world.Singapore Institute of Planners (SIP) was the implementing partner with HDB, IFHP, EAROPH, and CLC. SIP President was invited to moderate session 2 on Planning and Design of Liveable Cities. Around 15 SIP members attended this forum, and a SIP book booth was set up to promote publicity and awareness.
