A day of great celebration and respect culminating in the conferment of an Honorary Fellowship to the late Mr Ong Teng Cheong, former President of the Republic of Singapore, and one of the pioneer planners responsible for shaping much of modern Singapore.  The award, conferred by Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister of State for National Development, was warmly received by Mr Ong's two sons, Messrs Ong Tze Guan and Ong Tze Boon.
